Johnston & Jeff Sunflower Hearts are nutritious, rich in oil and high in energy and protein for wild birds. Created from bakery grade kernels and taken from the type of sunflower that contains the most oil, they are husk free which will mean less waste and less mess under the feeder.
Sunflower hearts are the kernels of the black sunflower seeds and as a result, they share all the same nutrients as black sunflower seeds and wild birds love them. One of the advantages of sunflower hearts is that they’re easier for the birds to eat, because they don’t have to remove the husks which usually build up around your feeding area. Johnston & Jeff's Sunflower Hearts are high in energy, and are a valuable food to have any garden.
